FK Fic Fest
Now there's a surprise for you! LJ ate a post!

Actually, as it turns out, LJ ate someone's sign-up for [livejournal.com profile] fkficfest. Not mine, I'm glad to say. However, some poor sod is looking hungrily in at the window, nose pressed to the glass, whimpering to be let in.

So the moderator, [livejournal.com profile] brightknightie, has done the unprecedented, and asked if anyone would like to swap their prompts. She's also asked if there are any latecomers who would like to join in.

In other words, the deadline's been sort of extended.

Now, as it happens, I have a nice slate of prompts, two of which are tickling my fancy hoping I'll choose them. So I'm not going to offer to swap.

However, I thought I'd bring this to the attention of my f-list, just in case there's anyone out there who hasn't already signed up for [livejournal.com profile] fkficfest. If anyone does want to play, just copy the sign-up form from the sign-up post and reply here.

(I gather if no one swaps or signs up late, the person whose sign-up was eaten will not be able to play except as a pinch-hitter.)

A community member who had not previously signed up has now thrown her hat into the ring, so the player who reported technical difficulties is assured of being able to play. The swap will remain open through Friday as promised, just in case anyone else would like to come aboard, or anyone is dissatisfied with her prompts.

(I do my best with the matching -- it took five rounds this year -- but there's always a mental refrain of: "If only another Ravenette / Torontonian / slasher / comedienne / fill-in-the-blank were playing!" ~grin~)

I think you do a marvellous job of matching us. At any rate, I've never had difficulty getting inspired by at least one of the prompts you've assigned me.
