Let me thank you right up front for whatever you are going to write. Although you've seen the tags on my sign-up, I know that most people like more than that to go on, so I hope this letter will prove helpful. I like all these fandoms equally; so I've put the TV shows in alphabetical order, with Original Works at the end.

If you're just looking for my general likes and dislikes, you'll find them at the end.

FANDOMS:

The Big Bang Theory (TV):
Solo: The Big Bang Theory Ensemble (Big Bang Theory), Howard Wolowitz & Leonard Hofstadter & Rajesh Koothrappali & Sheldon Cooper (Big Bang Theory), Howard Wolowitz & Rajesh Koothrappali (Big Bang Theory)

Basically, I'd like more of the same—perhaps futurefic set a year or so after the series ends, or hijinks and humour in the style of the early seasons. If you prefer backstory, I'd like a closer look at the early days of Howard and Rajesh's bromance. (How about that couples therapy that was hinted at?) I'd be curious to see how the gang deal with the covid pandemic, if you're up for it. DNW deaths of any of the series regulars, their family members, or recurring characters from the show; but it's okay if they get ill and recover.

I don't like anything more than PG13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. References to canonical deaths are fine; and, if you write a pandemic story, the deaths of OCs are okay. DNW AUs or crossovers. DNW first- or second-person fic.
I only got into this show after it had ended; but I think by now I've seen most episodes several times, often several at a time in order, so I've got a pretty good handle on the development of their lives over the years. The Big Bang Theory strikes me as being an equal-opportunity satire—humorously rude about nerd culture, girly girls, and university departments. I hit every one of those labels, at least to some degree; and I get most of the jokes about all of them.

Every one of the characters is wildly different; no one is even remotely perfect; and each has a chance to be the one who's obviously right, at least now and then. Also, there's Sheldon. Usually wrong, at least about all the details of RL, he nevertheless has that "out of the mouths of babes" capacity to skewer everybody's else's assumptions.

There seems to be a tendency for people to DNW any mention of the pandemic. I do appreciate that this might be personally a sensitive matter for my assigned author. So I only put the idea out there as a maybe. However, I can't think of a better group of characters to put in a story set in lockdown. Sheldon's both a germaphobe and the patient from hell, even with a head cold; Bernadette is a microbiologist working for a pharmaceutical company; she and Howard have kids, and all the daycares will be shut; and Stuart owns a comics shop that will be forced to shut for every lockdown. And so on. Just remember the DNW: no one dies. They may some of them get ill, or family and friends may; but no one dies. (Well, except maybe OCs.)

DC's Arrowverse:
WB: Time travel in the Arrowverse (DC's Arrowverse), Hartley Rathaway & Leonard Snart & Mick Rory & Mark Mardon & Mick Rory & Shawna Baez (Arrowverse), Barry Allen & David Singh & Joe West (DC's Arrowverse), Cisco Ramon & Hartley Rathaway (DC's Arrowverse), Barry Allen/Leonard Snart (DC's Arrowverse), Barry Allen & Leonard Snart (DC's Arrowverse)

I love the snarky banter of ColdFlash encounters, as well as ethical dilemmas about their CSI/thief relationship. I enjoy stories about the Rogues (even though, canonically, the group never came together with this line-up.) Perhaps a story that focuses on Barry as a CSI? The snarky relationship that Cisco has with Hartley goes back to their old S.T.A.R. Labs rivalry, and continues during the series timeline. I love Team Flash as an ensemble; so feel free to include other characters if you want.

I don't like anything more than PG13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. DNW soulmates, A/B/O, mpreg, wingfic, genderswap, kidfic. Canon-divergent AUs are fine; but DNW other types of AU. I prefer not to have characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. DNW first- or second-person fic.
We know something about Barry's juggling act as CSI and superhero; but I'm sure there's more to be told. Then there's Singh's perspective—on Barry as a CCPD employee, on the existence of superheroes in Central City, and on his job as police captain. If you want to use original characters, what about the varying reactions of police officers to having a superhero team around? What are the challenges faced in the investigation of criminal activity committed by metahumans? We've seen Barry at work (never enough!), but he's obviously not the only CSI working for the CCPD.

In the comic, the Rogues are basically a group of career criminals who want to pull off successful robberies and get away with the loot. Although most of the characters have been introduced in the TV show, it was individually. We were teased with references to "rogues" in Season One; but there's no evidence that an actual team ever formed. Did it? Will it? And, if so, who's in the group? I like snarky banter, and ethical dilemmas about the "Rogues' Code" that Flash proposed to Captain Cold.

Also, they killed off Leonard Snart. So ... what if he came back? I'm less interested here in how he'd return as in reactions and consequences. A lot has happened in the meantime.

Prehistoric Park:
WB: Any (Prehistoric Park), WB: Travel to As-Yet-Unvisited Time Periods (Prehistoric Park), WB: travel to Cambrian Era (Prehistoric Park), WB: Prehistoric Park zoo management (Prehistoric Park), Bob Arthur & Nigel Marven & Suzanne McNabb (Prehistoric Park)

Ideally, something along the lines of a new episode, including both time travel and scenes back at the park. Your choice of time period, but I'd prefer something as-yet-unvisited. The Cambrian era would pose particular logistical problems; but any era would have intriguing life forms to capture and study. What complications then arise in keeping them safe and healthy in the present day? How is the zoo funded/managed/publicized?

Canon-compliant gen, please. DNW any pairing involving the requested characters. I prefer not to have canon characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. DNW first- or second-person fic.
Dinosaurs! Or mammoths, trilobites, or what have you. Obviously, what I'd really like is the resurrection of the series and six more episodes. Realistically, you're writing me fan fiction, so I couldn't expect more than a single time trip and a bit back at the park.

Your choice of time period; but I would prefer an era that has not yet been visited. Preferably not the near past: my interest counts "past" in the tens of millions of years. We've seen the Cretaceous more than once: perhaps the Jurassic? Or the early Cenozoic somewhere other than South America? Or perhaps a trip far back, if they decide to build an aquarium, go back to the Cambrian Era, and dive for trilobites and the like. (That last would definitely pose logistical problems for the time travel team.) Then there are always present-day problems keeping/feeding the extra creatures that Nigel always brings back unannounced.

Episodes are usually available on YouTube.

Any or all! Mix'n'match. Combine prompts, if that tickles your fancy. Seriously, enjoy yourself.

I don't like anything more than PG13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. DNW soulmates, A/B/O, mpreg, kidfic. I prefer not to have main characters die in the story; but I'm okay with deaths of victims in casefic and the like. DNW first- or second-person.
I've been reading superhero comics for decades, and was fascinated by the concept for years before that. Despite their main focus, the real interest for me is not the detailed blow-by-blow of conflict with villains. Instead, I like characterization and worldbuilding.

Although a lot of the tags have / rather than & (and I'm mostly a gen writer and certainly not interested in smut), both sorts of relationships provide scope for interaction. Even these sketchy descriptions suggest characters with very different personalities and styles whose goals may be diametrically opposed. Quite a few tags suggest ethical dilemmas. Several might be taken in a humorous direction, though I prefer wit to slapstick.

GENERAL POINTS:

  • I love stories that explore more deeply—through backstory, or by elaborating the setting/history/culture or exploring people's motivations and personal interactions.

  • I prefer gen, unless otherwise specified. However, I don't care for anything more than PG-13: explicit sexual detail is definitely a DNW for me. (When I encounter it in stories, I skim over it.) For pairings, I prefer character exploration.

  • I love casefic; and, more generally, I like stories that are canon-compliant. The general exception to this is ignoring canonical character death if you want. (There may be other specific exceptions.)

  • I'm okay with violence if necessary to the story; but not gore for the sake of gore. On the whole, I prefer not to have characters die in the story; but references to canonical deaths are okay. (I'm fine with having original characters murdered in casefic, and that sort of thing.)

  • I enjoy comedy—being able to recognize the ridiculous when it pops up; also wit and wordplay. Having said that, I totally leave it up to you whether you write a serious or comic story—or a serious story with comic interludes.

  • No second person fic, please. First person is okay for book canons that were written that way by the author.
