I adore the idea of these three together, so I would love either something explicitly poly with a romantic Hooper/Brody/Ellen equilateral triangle, or otherwise whatever exploration of these characters interacting or coexisting that interests you! Perhaps after everything Hooper stays for a while, maybe while the authorities tidy up the legal side of everything, or while he's writing his next paper. Maybe they all get to coexist for a while. I love Ellen and am enamoured of making sure she isn't set aside, and would be interested to see how she deals with supporting her husband through the aftermath of this horrific experience but also how she deals with this other man who was there, who was funny and nice and brought her a bottle of wine, and who has now shared this with her husband in a way she can't imagine. I like to think they could all get through this together (and maybe fall in love about it).

I watched One Tree Hill for the first time this year and was honestly struck by how lovely this relationship was; it starts as a joke, but we see their support and genuine care for one another. If I'm being wistful it honestly feels a little like, had circumstances been different, things might have turned out differently for them, too. I'd love something shippy but I'd really just love to read however you spin it; canon plays out alternatively happy-ending, an AU world where things go differently, or maybe things end as they do on the show but we get to sit in Skills' or Deb's head about it and follow them as they reflect on the relationship. I'd just love to see a spotlight on these two and what their relationship was, or could have been. I'm sorry, Nathan, but I liked it when your mother dated your friend! These two had such an unexpectedly delightful storyline - I thought it was lovely how Mia, though still remaining cheeky and unserious about it, went to bed with Valentina fully intent on making it nice for her - and I've love anything featuring the two of them romantically. Maybe Valentine reflects on how this started transactionally but doesn't need to stay that way, and she has to unpack how she feels about that while also realising that liking someone didn't feel like she thought it would; maybe they become partners in crime, girlbossing the hotel while catching feelings; or maybe they start sleeping together and never really stop until they realise, wait, have we been dating this whole time? I am so glad that the only people who escaped the bad timeline this series was these two lesbians, and I want them to have a happy ending.

So either Daniel lives, or he's a ghost, or he still dies, and we have to sit with Grace as she deals with that and a love or kinship that she gained and lost during approx. 15 minutes of the worse day of her life.
It's just, like, imagine that you've been betrayed by the person you loved; who sold you a lie, the lie of a family; who even if he hadn't killed you was going to make a murderer out of you some day. And then imagine that you realise that you're not alone in thinking this is all severely, severely fucked up. Grace would imprint on that man like a baby duck, but also challenge how reductively he thinks about everything. Maybe they use their inherited millions and buy several large dogs and also lots of therapy.

i love the martian!! and i loveee the crew of ares 3!! i would love to see more of them on earth, more of them on the ship, in space on the way to mars, in space on the way back (esp. if grief/mourning), in space on the way back to mars, in space on the way back to earth (again!)... i would love to see an au where mark actually does die, at any point in the timeline, and how that affects the crew going forward... i would love to see one where the mission just goes the way it's supposed to and everything is fine... i would LOVE to see one where someone ELSE is injured and left behind (and communicates with the crew eventually), just so many fun options throwing these characters into the pear wiggler!! i just want to see more of them together i never felt like it was enough in the book!!

17776 haunts my every waking moment. i LOVE it. the way that it tells you that even in the most desperate of circumstances, there is connection. that, even thousands of years after everything's been done, one of the biggest human activities is play. plus, i really like space probes and i love that they're humanized here! i love their distinct personalities and their friendship. and of course the horrible, awful isolation at the beginning - just a very fun angsty plot point. i love the worldbuilding and i love the characters and i would love to see absolutely anything you want to do with them or the world itself!! hooray!! i don't have specific prompts because i can't think of any, so just go for it, really :D

I LOVE MURPHY!!!!! i did not feel like she got enough screen time in the movie. i would like to see anything with her, but especially:
- her growing up without her dad, and how that affects her
- more of how she got to be where she was as an adult

- how did she get from her 'eureka' moment to actually making it work?!?!?

So my entire basis for nominating/requesting this is that we were reading the Iliad and talking about the manuscript history and my professor said something along the lines of "Aristarchus always goes with the opposite of whatever Zenodotus does, he always picks the opposite reading." And that made me desperately curious about what Aristarchus might have thought of Zenodotus himself (since he has such a tendency to disagree violently with him), and what Zenodotus might have thought of Aristarchus' reactions to his work.
I know they weren't alive at the same time so I'd be perfectly happy with Aristarchus just thinking/talking about Zenodotus, but if you want to either change the timeline so that they could possibly meet or introduce some kind of time travel into the mix I would also enjoy that! (But please don't do a full modern AU.)

I love everything about Gyula - I'd love to hear the story of where and how he learned any of the things he knows, including whatever digs he was on with Károly where he learned so much about the Iazyges! I'm also obsessed by how much he wants to just get shit done and how dedicated he is to changing things, even when Károly and the Professor try to talk him down, even when all the rest of them accept life as it is, he just never gives up. I'd love him to be narratively allowed to do the industrial revolution he dreams of :3 Maybe they all (or Gyula alone) time travels to earlier in history, when Mátyás was less constrained by war and necessity and had more time to deal with them? I love this version of László - how his grief turns to anger turns to menace so fast when he's dealing with Ulrich and Ladislaus, how passionate he is with Maria, and how sweet he is with Matthias, coaxing him on that of course he'll find some girl who likes him someday :D He contains multitudes! I completely adore how he's so capable, and yet there's still that streak of impulsive overconfidence and that trust that leads him to disaster.
I'd love anything more about him - precanon fic with his parents? More about his relationship with Maria, or his relationship with Matthias? Or AU where he doesn't die (permanently) is also very welcome! Maybe he's imprisoned or banished (I always love a gay-marriage-disinheritance-AU)? I also love ghosts and other supernatural ways for people to not perma-die, as well as time travel! If you're continuing past the point where he dies, feel free to either follow the continuity of the series or go as divergent-AU as you'd like.

There are so many just narratively fascinating stories in this bio that I'd love fic about! Tell me more about Matthias doing his own army's recon, getting captured, and talking himself out of it by pretending to be a local groom! Or what it was like for those months trapped alone in Prague after Ladislaus died, not knowing what was going to happen to him. Or struggling with Mihály for control of the government, or deciding he couldn't risk war with the Ottomans and had to imprison Vlad, or finding out just in time about any of the plots against him... Anyone who follows me on social media this year has unfortunately had to watch me descend into madness week after week as TBHX aired. To say this series has occupied my thoughts is the understatement of the century. I requested these four, but really I'd also be happy to get a gen ensemble piece featuring any of the nominated characters (of which there are so, so many).
I don't mind an unhappy or ambiguous ending for a fic set in this fandom. No need for a happy ending when there are so few in canon. Also, I don't care what version of the names you use for any of the characters. Whatever you’re comfortable with is fine by me.

We love a five-minute fandom, don't we? I periodically get obsessed with Tom Cardy's music and the possibilities therein, and him dragging Brian David Gilbert into the mix is only a plus. I'm really happy that the song's psychiatrist and patient found their destiny in each other, so any exploration of that would be fantastic, romantic or otherwise. Maybe the patient decides to go into psychiatry, too, to see if there are any other beautiful minds out there. Maybe the psychiatrist struggles with the knowledge that his soulmate is a patient and the moral and ethical quandaries that introduces. Maybe they go out into the world together to look for ways to travel through space and time, or they just find a bear learning how to water ski.

Name these two whatever you want, or leave them nameless. This can be based off of just the song, or the extended worldbuilding that the video introduces, such as things like the hero being Super European laborer sibling saving the Princess or finally opting to walk away from the game at the end of the song.
Something about the relentless pursuit of happiness, achieving it, and still never being fulfilled is a real punch to the gut, and Tom Cardy is really good at introducing deep topics and approaching them in the stupidest way possible. I'd like to see the hero and the bad guy come to some sort of agreement to coexist together as allies or friends or romantically because the song makes it clear that they're pretty wrapped up together. As the bad guy says, "Even if you did defeat me, what would you do then?" and clearly the hero trying everything under the sun doesn't really work to erase the high of conquering his enemy.

Sasaki and Miyano are my two favorite weirdos in love. I love that their slow burn actually led to something canonical, and I love how careful Miyano was as he considered Sasaki's confession, even though making him wait six months for an answer almost killed me. I know only the manga is in the tagset, but if you're anime-only or haven't read the last couple of manga volumes, I don't mind you branching off from another point for something canon-divergent. I'm very much into Sasamiya as a ship, though if you want to write something non-romance focused like Miyano getting used to his first weeks at university, that would be great!

Bravern absolutely rewrote my brain when it came out. It gave me everything I've always wanted in a mecha anime, and several things I had no idea that I wanted.
For my fic's character interactions, I want Isami in it no matter what, and I also want some iteration of Lewis included, but I don't care if Lewis is Lewis or Bravern or both. Something like just Isami realizing while in Bravern that Bravern is also Lewis would be great, but I'm also fine with Isami/Bravern or Isami/Smith alone.
Isami and Smith had one of the best canonical love stories I've watched possibly ever, and that applies to Isami and Bravern as well, so I'd love a story where they make those feelings obvious and consummated. If you really just want to write about them fighting aliens or boxing or chilling with Lulu, that's all cool, too. Gen stories involving Lulu and Superbia or any of Isami and Smith's coworkers would also be fun as hell!

I've loved this story of a very moral(ly rigid) teen and an evil alien who is the only person who listens to her for a very, very long time. I love that the spore alien feels weirdly parental towards Jessie early on, and that they end up bodysharing later... more twisted philosophical discussions, alien horror, and battles (or meetings) in the center of the mind would be just the thing.

When I first watched this short I was so sure the ending twist would be that Galina regretted betraying the biome to humanity and had gone over to Swarm willingly. I'd love a twisted fix-it fic written in that vein, or perhaps a story where Swarm and Galina build some kind of twisted relationship through their years together. Swarm interfaces directly with her brain, imagine the twisted kink and romantic potential. Galina is in hell, she doesn't have to be trapped there; her mind could be free...

I would love to read about the Sons of Dâr, after. After they all died and both the dead and the living believed they'd left their brother alone with his curses and oaths? After they were sung home and had to relearn life, and peace, and the company of others? After Tamsin walks back into their lives, somehow, wearing that same old cloak and tunic but no longer silent, no longer cursed? This book has so much buildup and the payoff that we get in text is lovely but very brief.
I am very into all of the Gender that Tamsin has going on, if that's something you want to lean into. Also totally fine if you want to leave him out completely! The elflands don't actually revolve around him and his musical talent.
Definitely prefer overall gen for this one, but shippy mentions are fine (canon or otherwise).

Singing Hills Cycle - Nghi Vo

I love Wild Pig Yi and that we've seen her legends come up outside of Riverlands (Mammoths and maybe somewhere else?). I love the triad and all the different stories about them, and the different facets and truths and falsehoods. I love Wei Jintai and Mac Sang.
I'd love to read a legend of the Southern Monkey Master and her sworn sister (or his sworn brother, if the legend has traveled a very long way). I'd love to read a legend of Wild Pig Yi and her exploits and lovers. I really enjoy when the fox girl with eyes painted on her eyes shows up, and I honestly don't care if there's ever a resolution on that or if she just keeps showing up and prognosticating in the background.
I really, really like how these are stories about stories. How different stories reveal or conceal, contain truth and fiction. That a story is never the whole picture. That context matters, and that sometimes the information you're given is just wrong.

Hurog - Patricia Briggs

I just really like Ward. He's smart and thoughtful and kind, he knows what he wants, he cares for the people around him, and he is willing and able to receive care from them as well. Everybody here has huge amounts of damage and trauma, and they're still doing their best.
Ward & Oreg - I would be delighted to read Ward And Oreg Have A Nice Day And Nothing Bad Happens. Ward And Oreg: Roadtrip To Piss On Every Hurog Lord's Gravestone. Ward And Oreg Have Tea With A Dragon.
Ward & Garranon - Garranon is just a really decent guy. They are both decent, honorable guys who lived through awful things and have decided not to do that to the people around them. On the other hand, Garranon was part of putting Ward in another awful situation, although with limited agency himself - is there anything they need to hash out?
Ward & Tisala - Slice of life after they're married? Dealing with some kind of very mundane and handle-able problem? Slice of life in the lead-up to getting married?
Basically, I would like any or all of these people to Have A Nice Day. Sometimes, even when one is having a nice day, trauma rears its gnarly head, but I would prefer that it not be the central theme.

Prefer only canon relationships for this. I'm pretty neutral/meh on kidfic in general, but I think this is a fandom where it makes sense and could work well (either Ward and Tisala's kids or Ward's niblings. I will happily read it if that's the way inspiration takes you.

Aunt - she's lived a long life, there's lots to explore. What was she like as a young woman? When Katriona arrived in her care? When Kat was gone for six months attending the princess's name-day? When they started hearing the news that something went terribly wrong? She had some idea what was happening, but it still must have been awfully hard to wait for Kat to come home.
Katriona - She grows up and grows into her own power so much over the course of this book. Kat and Zel, now that her familiar has finally found her? How did Zel know about that long-ago promise to the fox who helped them? Kat missing Peony? Kat in the aftermath? Kat and Aunt, the two most powerful fairies in the Gig?
Peony - Peony and the Princess. Peony being the Princess. Peony and the Princess's family. Peony and the Princess's future subjects, on the grand tour back through the country and to her new home. I feel so bad for Peony, that she was never quite wanted by her family, that she volunteered to be the Princess for a few months and got stuck with being the Princess for the rest of her life. She will be a good Queen, but... does she want that?
Maybe Pernicia lost but took the Princess with her, leaving only the Princess's two waiting women. Maybe there's a way they can both stay in Foggy Bottom, even once they're breathing their own breath, casing their own shadows. Maybe Rosie goes with her to the palace and her new life - perhaps not forever, but for long enough that it's not a total severance. I kind of hate that Narl said to Katriona, "don't you want to keep her" and they both threw their power into it without Peony having any kind of say. Or maybe Peony and Rosie did talk about it, in the long quiet hours at the top of their tower. They don't know what will happen, maybe one or both of them will be dead on the first day of the Princess's 22nd year, so why not spin out the possibilities. Maybe Rosie knew that Peony would truly enjoy it, rather than just wanting to get out of it herself.
Rosie - Some years down the line being recognized, truly, by her parents? All of them needing to grapple with the events and choices that brought them here? Rosie unable to get out of being the Princess, learning to cope, allowing herself to be formed, a little, but also pushing back and making space for herself at the court? The royal family of her mother's country breeds sighthounds - there's no reason she can't be known for the quality of her stable.
Rosie & Peony / Rosie/Peony - I really like their friendship. I also think there's a lot of room for shippy feels here, requited or otherwise. They breathe together. They only cast one shadow. Rosie, bending down to wake her friend (a sleeping beauty) with true love's kiss. I can't even!

Request-specific DNW: I'm pretty meh on Rosie/Narl. McKinley has a thing for young women with much older men and I'm just not that into it. Please don't focus on this relationship. Narl's fine as a character but he's at least twice her age. Ych.

Look! I remembered to post before December started this year!

Hello, friends! It's about to be December again, and you know what that means: the fact I am posting this actually before December 1 means

karzilla reminded me about the existence of linear time again. Wait, no -- well, yes, but also -- okay, look, let me back up and start again: it's almost December, and that means it's time for our annual December holiday points bonus.

The standard explanation: For the entire month of December, all orders made in the Shop of points and paid time, either for you or as a gift for a friend, will have 10% of your completed cart total sent to you in points when you finish the transaction. For instance, if you buy an order of 12 months of paid time for $35 (350 points), you'll get 35 points when the order is complete, to use on a future purchase.

Post-Deadline Pinch Hits: 12, 101, 129, 134, 138

Pinch hits are participants who are without creators; pinch hitting is the practice of volunteering to make a gift for a pinch hit. These pinch hits are all due on December 5th at 10:00 PM EST.

Fic In A Box has a very unusual set of assignment requirements: everyone is owed (and is asking for) 10k of fanfiction, which by default can be given as one 10k+ fic or several 1k+ fics. Participants have also had the option to opt-in to other minimum lengths or to other formats of fanwork. The other fanwork mediums are given word count equivalents, which you can view on the medium ruleset post.

Additionally:

Fic In A Box creators may default after partially filling their assignment—say, if they discover that they can only write 9k of fic—and PHs can be picked up in 1k increments!
You may always swap all or part of your assignment for a PH, just let us know that's what you're doing when you post to claim the PH.

1 Week Delay To December 6th

One Week Delay!

The reveals date is being delayed one week to December 6th at 10 PM EST (countdown) to allow time for pinch hits to be finished! Updates on the posted schedules and a new PH post will be put up shortly!

- Either one compromising their morals for the other (especially if they do something out of character in the heat of the moment, and only subsequently realize that it was a big deal/signifies a shift in their relationship)
- If it is shippy, I really enjoy Father Brown explaining why he feels morally okay breaking his vows of celibacy (that can be the whole fic if you want!). But I also realize that’s a difficult question, so feel free to just not address it. I’d rather the issue be ignored altogether than brought up and handwaved away, if that makes sense.
- Hurt/comfort (especially wound tending, ESPECIALLY if said wounds were obtained in defense of the wound tender)
- One turns up on the other’s doorstep out of the blue, badly injured and/or on the run
- Shaving fic. As in, one has to shave the other, ideally with a straight razor. The vulnerability and intimacy of it really gets me.
- Kinky Catholicism. Flambeau wanting to worship and be absolved by Father Brown, rather than God. This doesn’t have to be sexual.

I’d love a fixit for the downer ending, particularly one exploring the (vaguely credible?) theory that Marlowe faked his own death.
* I realize that the play has a sad ending. I’m not saying I need you to change the canon ending, if you don’t want to disturb canon I’d be very happy to read a missing scene inserted in the middle. But if you’re going past 1593 I would prefer for things to diverge in a happier direction.

Two Loves - Lord Alfred Douglas (Poem)

Optional details: This is a weird one! This poem is famous for coming up in Oscar Wilde’s trial, when he eloquently but unwisely described the nature of “the love that dare not speak its name.” I read the poem and thought “I wanna see them kiss.” Cause let’s be honest, despite one of them being heterosexuality personified, they’re both pretty gay.
They don’t have to kiss, but that’s what inspired me to request this. Also, you can refer to them however you want, I struggled with coming up with the tags. I was thinking Joyous Love/Sighing Love, if you like that, or you can give them real names or just avoid referring to them by name at all. Feel free to tag them differently.
* So, Oscar Wilde’s famous definition of the second Love (available here: https://www.famous-trials.com/wilde/342-wildetestimony) is love between an older man and a younger man (exact ages unspecified). I don’t think there’s anything in the poem itself that implies it means that, as opposed to regular old gayness. It’s cool if you want to reference Wilde’s testimony, but I’d like it clear that the Love that dare not speak its name is homosexuality in general, and not specifically pederasty.
Prompts/stuff I’d be interested to see:
- Their journey (before the events of the poem) from friends (to lovers?) to enemies
- Exploration of Joyous Love’s own shame and why he projects it onto Sighing Love
- Them making up after the poem’s events
- Some explanation of how bisexuality fits into this, lol. Threesome? Maybe they’re all actually bi? Idk.
- Other sexualities? By Wilde’s definition it seems like you might need a separate entity for lesbian love.
- Further expanding of the world. I didn’t add Worldbuilding as a character because I’d like the focus on the two Loves, but I’d definitely be interested in seeing the mythology fleshed out a bit more around them!
- Nonstandard fic structure (e.g. epistolary, poetry, etc)
- Something that blends the real world with the dream garden, like one or both of them being called to testify at Wilde’s trial or something???
- Honestly feel free to play with this, if you feel inspired. I just like the idea of seeing more of them/their relationship and I think I’ll be thrilled with anything that does that.

I watched this homage to British costume drama (and airline safety video!) and was instantly charmed. Feel free to take it anywhere along the crack continuum that you like: is this a strange alternate world in which airplanes were invented much, much earlier? Did the historical characters time-travel forward, or the flight attendants time-travel in reverse? Did a real queen isekai into the filming of an airline safety video and just deal with it with royal aplomb? Why are Anne and George sitting in airline seats in the parlor? (Do they invite the flight attendants to their wedding?) And, the most provoking question of all: how did the Scots get seatbelts on their horses?
Additional DNW for this fandom: don't break up Anne and George! However, any other relationships here are fair game, and I'd be intrigued by something like Scot/flight attendant or Queen/pilot.
DNW: I do not want fic focusing on pregnancy or children (mentions of either are fine), A/B/O or BSDM dynamics, mundane modern AUs, or major character death (other than canon deaths). I do not want anything that contradicts the characters being cisgender as presented in canon, unless they are canonically not cisgender. I do not want fic that uses neopronouns (e.g. 'xie') – please use 'they' for nonbinary or agender characters, or whatever these characters use in canon. I do not want nonstandard capitalization or punctuation other than in the title. I very strongly prefer past tense; if you feel your story really needs to be in present tense for stylistic reasons that's fine, but I want it to be a conscious choice, not a default.

I first read Europe in Autumn and Europe at Midnight nearly 10 years ago, when the ""Xian Flu"" was a far-fetched SF imagining and the ""Global War on Terror"" was not nearly so global. I'm re-reading these books now in preparation for reading the rest of the series, and let me just say it's landing rather differently.
The worldbuilding in this series delights and enthralls me! I would love anything about the splinter polities, about the Line, about the Campus or the Community or the Coureurs, on scales small (the discovery of an entrance to the Community) to large (a seemingly-stable country splitting into pieces). Past, present, or future; Europe, or beyond - what happened in Asia? In North America? while all this is happening in Europe? There are intriguing hints that the US has had a civil war, and that Texas has become its own country! The little bits of story with secondary characters hint at lots of things outside the scope of the novels that could be filled in. Or - and I don't know yet if these get answered in the books, but if it doesn't - how does mapping an alternate dimension make it spring into being? What was Mundt's ""trick of topology""?

I read the first few Shardlake books a few years ago, and then read the rest of them in one fell swoop this summer. I feel like they just got better and better! Heartstone, where we meet Hugh Curteys, was possibly my favorite, because it contains one of my favorite tropes. Which is unfortunately a major spoiler, so I won't talk about it here, but if you've matched on this fandom you can find additional details in my letter.
I'd really love a story about Hugh's new life in Antwerp working in the cloth trade, and I'm fine with it being set with him back in England talking to Shardlake, or epistolary, or just completely about Hugh with no involvement from Shardlake and the other characters. I'm fine with gen, or with him attempting a romance either with a man or a woman (original character) - it's up to you whether it goes well or disastrously, considering his secret and the setting. Bern and Chee in particular are on such an even keel with each other that I trust their characterization with each other in a H/C situation—that Chee wouldn't be infantilizing hurt!Bern and Bern wouldn't randomly transform into some kind of nursemaid with hurt!Chee (look, I like her a lil gruff even though she's got a lot of heart). So highlighting that canon balance they come to in the course of their work would be great in this context.
DNW: High focus on racist, gendered or queerphobic violence in whump specifically. It's fine if those things come up in the fic, but if you do go with H/C I'd rather the hurt part not be a hate crime or something

This show is such a mindfuck, it left me reeling. I'd love to get inside Elliot's head and see the world from his perspective, whether he's orchestrating a hack, or just trying to survive in a post-5/9 world. Please feel free to lean into darker themes, like his mental health struggles and delusions. An expansion on his traumatic past is likewise welcome, starting with his destruction of the server room pre-season, or even going back to his childhood with his father. Feel free to pull in other characters, such as Darlene (their relationship is so special, I'd love to see more), Krista (I'd love her take on him; maybe Elliot hacks her to read her notes on him?), Mr. Robot or other alters, or any other characters! Post-series fic with the 'real' Elliot is also something I'd love to see.

This film was so subtly sinister, and the role of Sarah was played superbly. I loved how she had a seductive quality that drew people to her like a moth to a flame, but when she was done with them, her cold indifference was absolutely brutal. I would love to see more of her toying with Charlie, not even for any particular gain, but just because she enjoys it. On a shippy note, there were so many moments in this film where the sexual tension between Charlie and Sarah was almost palpable, and I would love any kind of smut with these two, especially if Sarah's mean about it (e.g. bossing Charlie around, teasing her for being a virgin). I'd also be interested in Sarah spending time with other girls to make Charlie jealous, and this could be in a platonic or a romantic way. I'm interested in receiving French fic for this canon, but English fic is welcome too.

This film is a surprising delight, and it gave me almost everything I wanted—that is, everything except for a romantic arc for Tony. I'd love to see a version of events where he and Adam become partners in every sense of the word, or perhaps a pre-canon fic that expands on his history with Reece. Some sort of convoluted V-shaped love triangle with Tony at the centre would be next-level. If shipfic isn't your jam, I'd love insight into the day-to-day life of running one of the most highly-regarded restaurants in the world; food porn is very much welcome here, as is the minutiae of working in a kitchen. Pre-canon fic that details how Tony came to know Adam and Reece in Paris would be great, as would post-canon fic about life after securing the elusive Michelin Star.
