Oh, I know what you say is true. It's just that I've been doing the icons for a couple of months now; and maryrenaultfics has been rather quiet. I know the mods gave us the Sunday Tea prompt to try to get a bit of activity—and it's not as though the idea for the story didn't immediately pop into my head! It just took me two weeks to sit down and start writing.

Then again, FORKNI-L also went through a very quiet period; and one reason I've been posting the icons a few at a time is so that there will be a steady stream of posts—if only mine telling people I've got a couple of new ones for them to look at. Of course, I truly don't have a complete set yet. There are some that still flummox me what to do, and others that are presenting compositing problems, so I keep going back and tweaking some more But I also hoped to prime the pump a bit.

At some point soon, though, that rarewomen story will have to be written!
